Its imperative to continue to create and renew efficiency improvement incentives for homeowners. The benefits are many: motivates homeowners to take action to conserve energy and save money, while increasing comfort; directly helps to grow the economy and support the developing home performance industry; contributes to our Nation’s energy independence. Overall, its makes absolute sense; especially, in comparison to the many other ‘subsidies’ that are carelessly given to entrenched industries such as oil, macro agri-business,  the military complex and the ‘sovereign rights’ of corporations.

We can be smarter if we act and set clear, balanced and fair priorities.
