HOME STAR is included in a stripped down energy bill that Sen. Reid presented Tuesday night at 10pm. Although the lack of comprehensive climate legislation is a tough blow, the passage of this smaller bill will demonstrate the benefits: job creation and energy efficiency and Co2 Emission reduction- that will result from catalyzing the home performance industry with federal rebates for home performance improvements.
