The Massachusetts Chapter of Efficiency First, the national trade organization that unites the Home Performance workforce is submitting the attached Memo to the EEAC (Energy Efficiency Advisory Council),  MA utility Program Administrators, and DOER.

The Memo specifically addresses the recent RFP submitted to qualified Independent Home Energy Assessment (audit) contractors by CSG, Lead Vendor, in support of the CSG contracts with National Grid and NStar.

To best support the development of market based energy efficiency services in Massachusetts and to achieve the impressive energy savings goals set forth by the 2010-2012 RCS energy efficiency programs, we hope that all stakeholders consider the recommendations presented in the Memo.

Thank you,
