Cozy Home Performance contributed to this Deep Energy Retrofit project as part of a 2009 WMECO (Western MA Electric Co.) pilot program. The homeowners received significant utility incentive money for realizing 50-70% energy savings. This charming 1700’s farm house is an example of a high performing, super insulated historic home. Occupants are now much more comfortable, the building is more durable, and energy costs are reduced dramatically.
