The value of working with Cozy Home Performance. We are different because your home needs different..

As the seasons change all living things tend to go through a process of reconfiguring and adapting. As the ‘Winter of the Ice Dam’ is replaced by the warm sun and spring birds, the Cozy Home team is reflecting on our value. Actually, as a small business in the Building Performance industry we are constantly reflecting, adapting, and remembering what drives us to do the work we do. What sets us apart from other insulation contractors, weatherization contractors, and even peer home performance contractors,  is our commitment to delivering tangible solutions to benefit our clients’ lives: building improvements that work to benefit occupant experiences by increasing the health, comfort, and energy savings.

When our skilled technicians are in often uncomfortable attic and basement spaces they are working hard with intelligence and experience. Energy efficiency improvement measures are installed with real intention based on building science and a personal drive to address some of the most pressing issues of our time.

The unfortunate reality is that in our society we are accustomed to building trades contractors cutting corners. Indeed, we are often fixing building problems caused by contractors who do not understand the lasting effects of sub-par work. Cozy Home’s value is that our approach is focused on preparing your building for a future where we can not afford poor building techniques; a future where energy costs are increasing and natural resource conservation is more important than ever.

Below are some actual recent testimonials from satisfied Cozy Home Performance clients:

Hi mark. The house was toasty this winter. Because we switched to pellets this year, I’ll never know how much oil we would have saved, but we were able to stay comfortable on 1 bag of pellets a day. The HRV was awesome. Allergies were the best ever with our two cats this winter. Friends that were weary of coming over because of allergies in the past were shocked at the difference. I shut it off in the spring. It heats the house in the summer, and it uses electricity, when I can just open windows and cross ventilate the house.  I’d love a DVD of all of the pics. Were you ever able to get the ‘after’ pictures with the thermal camera?

Just a note to say I am as delighted with the outcome of your second job at my house as I was after the first. This winter after Cozy Home air sealed and insulated the 2 back closets, finishing off most of what needed sealing and insulating in my home, I had no ice dams, and I use to always have ice dams on the back sides of those 2 closets. Well done, as always, and thank you.
